He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his children, John Harmon (Sally) of Hillsboro, Robert J. "Bob" Harmon (Beth) of Litchfield and Dr. Jan Harmon (Charles Saucier) of Madison, MS.; his grandchildren, Craig Harmon (Amber) of Butler, IL., Josh Gorsage (Amanda) of Witt, IL., Kerby Harmon (Brianne) of Raymond, IL., Holly Leetham (Randy) of Hillsboro, Kyle Harmon of St. Peters, MO., Meghan Harmon (Greg Bishop) of Divernon, IL. and Tessa Pulliam (Spencer) of Rochester, IL.; his great grandchildren, Carlee, McKenna, Henry Harmon, Reed Harmon, Abigail, Elijah, Canaan, Gabe, Rocco and Silas Gorsage; and his siblings, Carl Simmons (Mary Carol) of Odin, IL., Clinton "Butch" Harmon (Laura) of Phoenix, AZ., Doris Driscoll and Mary Ellen Stride.
He battled with Parkinson's disease the past ten years.
