It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Wirfs of Hillsdale, Illinois, born in Portsmouth, Ohio, who passed away on March 3, 2021, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Wirfs and Anna Matlock Wirfs; his former wife Helena; and his brothers, Tom and James.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Nelson Wallace; his son Allen Wirfs (Megan); his stepchildren, David Wallace (Cody), Melissa Bonner, Melissa Forbes and Brian Smith; his grandchildren, Aurora Wirfs and DJ Wirfs; his stepgrandchildren, Christian and Ashleigh; and his sister Lynn Keithlin (Bill).
In accordance with public gathering guidelines, social distancing will be observed as well as capacity limits followed within the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to PAWS Humane Society of Moline.
