He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Maier and Alice Maier (Lovett); his wife Joyce Wood; and his brother Benny Maier. He is survived by: his former wife Vicki Vogelsang; his sister-in-law Marilyn Maier; and his close friends, Steve Earhart and Jillian Woeckoner. He is also survived by 4 step children.
