He was predeceased by : his parents, Ralph Tobias and Anna Tobias. He is survived by : his wife Patrice Foster; his children, Erin Boyce (Joshua), Patrick Tobias and Meaghan Evans (Ryan); his grandchildren, Liam, Ronin Boyce, Nora, Ella, Quinn and Reese Evans; his sister Dianna Tomisek (John); his nephew Todd Tomisek; his great-nephew Brandon; his great-niece Alyssa; his niece Dianna Cates (James); and his great-nephews, Jack and Luke.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Adolf & Powell Funeral Home (7000 S Madison St, Willowbrook, IL 60527). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church (306 W 4th St, Hinsdale, IL 60521).
