He was predeceased by: his father Lee Fayette (Bud). He is survived by: his children, Andrea Troy, James Fayette, William (Billy), Christy Howley (Lee) and Nicole Fayette; and his grandchildren, Ashley, Finn and Felix.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in his memory to the Morton Arboretum (https://mortonarb.org) as a reflection of his lifelong appreciation for nature.
