It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lisa Marie Cortese of Hoffman Estates, Illinois, who passed away on December 10, 2020, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Cortese and Dorothy Cortese; her parents-in-law, Walter and Marguerite Pietraszak (Schmuhl); her brothers-in-law, William (late Dianne) and James; and her nephew Alex.
She is survived by: her husband Mike; her son Nicholas; her brother Joe Cortese (Angie); her brothers-in-law, Richard (Debra), Patrick, Paul, David and Joseph; and her nieces and nephews, Amanda, Natalie, Melissa, Katie, Raechel, Thomas and Walter.
Due to the many social restrictions imposed by the COVID pandemic, a memorial celebration of Lisa's life is planned for a future date.
