Mary Lou Alaia Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Lou Alaia (Hoffman Estates, Illinois), who passed away on October 29, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Salvatore; her grandchild Nicky; and her brother Phillip Jacobs, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Sue Skender (Jeff), Chris Alaia (Marisol) and Rose Abaroa (Jaime); and her grandchildren, Jenny (Kyle Benson), Emily, Noah and Hanna.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Hubert Church (729 Grand Canyon Pkwy, Hoffman Estates, IL 60169). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer Association (http://www.alz.org) would be appreciated.
