He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Patricia Anne; his children, Nicholas Heitkemper (Kathy) and Dianne Heitkemper; his grandchildren, Zachary Heitkemper, Isabelle Heitkemper, Evan Heitkemper and Jacob Heitkemper; his siblings, Theresa Quednow (Dale), Joan Schmidkamp (Jack), Scott Heitkemper, Bonnie Reckinger (John), Gary Heitkemper, Donna Olson (late Bob) and Eugene Heitkemper (Sandy); and his siblings-in-law, Nancy Faulkner (Doug) and Michael Pringle. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society to assist efforts in battling chronic leukemia would be appreciated.
