He was predeceased by: his wife Susan; his sister Anita (late Alfred); and his parents, Mary and John. He is survived by: his sons, David Sr. (Lisa), Richard Jr. (Heather), Billy (Debbie) and Michael (Vickie); his grandchildren, Danielle (Jordan), Trina, David Jr., Alisha, Alexia, Richie III (Riley), Michael (Maddy), Matthew, Elena, Clara Rose, Scottie and Jacob; and his sister Darlene.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 9:15 AM at the Richard J Modell Funeral Home & Cremation Services (12641 W 143rd St, Homer Glen, IL 60491). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Bernard Church (13030 W 143rd St, Homer Glen, IL 60491).
