Patricia Boysen Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Patricia Boysen of Homewood, Illinois, who passed away on October 11, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James O'Brien and Maureen O'Brien; her son Jerry Bosco; and her former husband Gerald Bosco. She is survived by: her husband Charles "Chuck" Boysen; her daughter Kathleen Kirley (Mark); her stepchildren, Chuck, John Boysen and Becky; her siblings, Marge Grace (John), Jane Robinson (late Cecil) and James O'Brien (Pat); her daughter-in-law Tracy; and her grandchildren, Connor, Nico, Austin, Taylor and Alena. She is also survived by her many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Tews-Ryan Funeral Home (18230 Dixie Hwy, Homewood, IL 60430). A prayer will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 9:15 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. John Neumann Catholic Church (17951 Dixie Hwy, Homewood, IL 60430). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the Holy Sepuchre Cemetery (6001 W 111th St, Alsip, IL 60803).
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Gift of Life Transplant House, 705 2nd St. SW, Rochester, MN 55902, in memory of Pat's son, Jerry Bosco.
