Eddie Beckemeyer Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eddie Beckemeyer of Hoyleton, Illinois, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on December 17, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles L. Beckemeyer and Eleanor Beckemeyer Hosick (Knorpp); his wife Laura Louise Sensmeyer; and his brothers, John Beckemeyer, David Beckemeyer, Robert Beckemeyer and Steven "Seaweed" Hosick.
He is survived by: his children, Alina Bartlett (Michael) of Irvington, Ernest Beckemeyer of Hoyleton, Angie Schnitker (Chad) of Hoyleton and Sally Mahnke (Keith) of Iuka; his grandchildren, Layla Beckemeyer, Keytin Beckemeyer, Gracie Schnitker and Annie Schnitker; and his siblings, Donald Beckemeyer of Nevada, Missouri, Mary Stotts of Phoenix, Sharon Haukap (Paul) of St. Louis, Joyce Jaskulsky (Rick) of Buhl, Brenda Knorpp of Rosamond, Dessie Herren (Mark) of Blackwell and Sandy Hosick of St. Louis, Missouri. He is also survived by in-laws that he loved and he called them his outlaws; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Due to COVID and per Eddie's wishes, cremation rites will be accorded and no public services will be held.
In Honor of Eddie, memorial donations may be made to Wounded Warrior's and Leashes of Valor and will be accepted at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home and Cremation Services at 235 North Sycamore Street Centralia, Illinois 62801, (618) 532-3523, who is honored to be of service to the Beckemeyer Family.
