We are sad to announce that on December 5, 2020, at the age of 93, Merle Marie Beckmeyer of Hoyleton, Illinois, born in Centralia, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Byars and Harriet Byars (Garrison); her husband Roland Beckmeyer; her sister Ruth Edna Walker; her nephew Gary Vanbuskirk; and her siblings-in-law, Minnette Fortmeyer and Louis Fortmeyer.
She is survived by: her son Mark Beckmeyer (Debbie) of Hoyleton; her grandchildren, Annamarie Beckmeyer of Hoyleton, Joshua Pokojski of Centralia and Jesse Pokojski (Nikki) of Centralia; and her nieces, Ruth Ann Frizzell (Dick) of Collinsville and Joyce Rollinson (Dan) of Summerville, SC..
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Zion Evangelical United Church of Christ and will be accepted at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home at 235 North Sycamore Street Centralia, Illinois 62801, (618) 532-3523, who is honored to be of service to the Beckmeyer Family.
