Sharon T. Grathwohl Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon T. Grathwohl of Hoyleton, Illinois, born in Topeka, Kansas, who passed away on September 14, 2020, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Anthony Mays and Elizabeth Edith Mays (O'Dell); and her brothers, Everett Leroy Kidney and J. H. Mays. She is survived by: her husband Gale Grathwohl; her sons, Tony Smith (Kelley) of Salem and Oliver Smith (Camille) of Covington, TN; her grandchildren, Ella Smith of Salem, Olivia Smith of Covington, TN and Luke Smith of Covington, TN; her siblings, Anthea Turner of Topeka, KS, Loretta Dean of Topeka, KS, Tony Mays of Kentucky and Darleh Mays of California; and her brother-in-law Darrell Grathwohl (Janet) of Sparta. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church or to the Trinity Lutheran School in Hoyleton and will be accepted at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home at 235 North Sycamore Street Centralia, Illinois 62801, (618) 532-3523, who is honored to be of service to the Grathwohl Family.
