It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Walter Swierski of Huntley, Illinois, who passed away on October 24, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Swierski and Anne Swierski; and his brother Walter. He is survived by: his wife Karen Jean Pocius; his sons, Steven Swierski (Donna) and Michael Swierski; his grandchildren, Brooke and Paige Swierski; and his nieces, Michelle Wilson and Jennifer Pocs.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (10307 Dundee-Huntley Rd, Huntley, IL 60142). A Mass will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, Masses can be said in Richard's name.
