He was predeceased by: his parents, George Embrey and Alice Young Embrey; his wife Sandra Kay Clark; his son-in-law Larry Dennison; and his siblings, Viola Embrey, Charlotte Connors, Margaret "Peg" Mathias, George Embrey, Thomas Embrey and John Embrey.
He is survived by: his children, Roger Embrey Jr. (Melody), Dawn Dennison, Robin Weber (Danny) and Shannon Baker (Jay); and his siblings, Robert Embrey Sr., Stella Witts, Dorothy Dinger and Linda Collins. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; thirty-six great grandchildren.
