The memory of Brenda Kay Lonergan of Jacksonville, Illinois, who passed away on June 11, 2025 at the age of 76, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Lee and Rozella Alena Roate Lacy; her close friend Greg McDaniel; and her siblings, Jerry Lacy, Donnie Lacy and Donna Lomelino (Greg McDaniel).
She is survived by: her daughters, Penny Barfield (Rocky) of Springfield and Andrea Lonergan (Dean Turner) of Jacksonville; her grandchildren, Michael Hughes of Jacksonville, Rocky Barfield II of Springfield and Jenna Hughes of Jacksonville; her great grandchildren, Tyler Hughes, Arian Hughes, Molly Hughes and J'Leigh Jackson-Hughes; and her brother Terry Lacy (Jeanette).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Williamson Funeral Home (1405 Lincoln Ave, Jacksonville, IL 62650). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at the Jacksonville East Cemetery (600 Myrtle St, Jacksonville, IL 62650).
Memorials are suggested to the American Lung Association or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
