She was predeceased by: her parents, Cornelius "Colonel" Halter and Mary Halter (Walz); her daughter Laura Ann Koenig; her siblings, Robert "Bobby" Halter and Janet; her brother-in-law Ray Hess; her nephew Douglas Halter; and her son-in-law Neil March.
She is survived by: her husband Harold J. Koenig of Medora; her children, Bev Williamson (Randy) of Texas, Kelly Brandon (Don Williams) of Jerseyville, Terry Ritchey (Jamie) of Jerseyville, Vanessa Smith-Herkert (Steve Herkert) of Jerseyville, Lynn Koenig of Jerseyville and Joseph Koenig (Amanda) of Jerseyville; her sister-in-law Jean Halter of Tennessee; and her grandchildren, Zach March (Regina) of Texas, Daniel March of Texas, Neil James March (Jeanne) of Texas, Kris Boyd (Deirek) of Edwardsville, Brandon Gibson (Danielle Miller) of Jerseyville, Ethan Gibson (Ashlynne) of Alton, Kelsey Strebel (Justin) of Jerseyville, Rachel Lamb of Jerseyville, Nathan Crenshaw (Kari) of Jerseyville, Billy Ritchey of Godfrey, Gregory Smith of Alton, Blake Smith (Janelle) of Jerseyville, Luke Smith of Jerseyville, Laura Jo Koenig of Jerseyville, Andrew, Sophia and Emma Koenig of Jerseyville. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Crawford Funeral Home (1308 IL-109, Jerseyville, IL 62052). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at the Valhalla Memorial Park (2308 W Delmar Ave, Godfrey, IL 62035).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Make-A-Wish Foundation or St. Francis/Holy Ghost Catholic School, in care of the funeral home.
