He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Schulte, and Wilma Louis Schulte, Sr. (Cemstock); his stepmother Dorothy Schulte; and his siblings, Jerry, Scott Schulte and Peggy Wolf.
He is survived by: his close friend Rita Loellke of Jerseyville; his children, Robert Schulte (Terri) of Cottage Hills, Brian Schulte (Melissa) of Alton, Andrew Schulte (Julie) of Godfrey and Desiree Schulte of Cottage Hills; and his siblings, Debbie Hotz of Jerseyville, Celine PanKratius of Sacramento, CA., Susan Bradfisch (Tuck) of Grafton, Faith Thorne of California, Billy Phillips of Washington State and Mark Phillips of Oregon. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Crawford Funeral Home (1308 IL-109, Jerseyville, IL 62052). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at the St. Francis Cemetery. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Disabled American Veterans Association.
