He was predeceased by: his parents, Austin Adair and Rose Adair (Busby); his sons, George, Leroy and James Clifford "Jimmy" Adair, Jr.; his grandson Colton Adair; his sisters, Joetta West, Violet Easley, Marie Brookins, June Furlong and Eileen Pitts; his parents-in-law, Robert McAdams and Joella Powers (McAdams); and his brothers-in-law, Michael, Robert McAdams and Richard Lockhart.
He is survived by: his wife Jolene Adair of Jerseyville; his children, Janelle Dunham (Brandon) of Jerseyville, Jennifer Adair of Jerseyville, Charles Adair (Charlene) of Collinsville and Wesley Adair of Cuba, Missouri; his grandchildren, Skylar, Logan, Connor, Kyleigh, Gage, Bowen, Adalynn, Shelby, Colby, Joy, Brandy, Chris, Mel, Shawn and Lucas; his great grandchild Rosemary; his sister Betty Vandelicht of Hams Prairie, Missouri; his stepfather-in-law Wesley "Wes" Powers of Jerseyville; and his siblings-in-law, Joetta of Jerseyville, Bruce Pinkerton of Jerseyville, Angela of Jerseyville, Wes Roady of Jerseyville and Holly McAdams of Jerseyville. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
