It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Gust Ford of Jerseyville, Illinois, born in East Alton, Illinois, who passed away on March 2, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Melvin Franklin and Nellie Franklin (Knight); her former life partner Urban Francis Gust; her husband William "Woody" Ford; her son Gerald Francis Gust; her grandson Danny Phillips; and her son-in-law Kirk Taviner.

She is survived by : her children, Sherrie (Paul Edgell), Terry (Paula Gust) and Michele Morris of Kane; and her daughter-in-law Kathy (Danny Blasioli) of Wood River. She is also survived by 10 Grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Memorials may be given to the Open Door House of Praise in Jerseyville, in care of the funeral home.
