As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Stoney Ellis may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lowell Vernon Galbraith and Geraldine Galbraith (Cluck); and his sister Linda Tate. He is survived by: his son Keith Ellis Galbraith (Becca Galbraith); his sister Shirley Andersen (Butch); his brother-in-law Harold Tate; and his sibling's children, Danny Andersen, Bryant Mitchell (Deann) and Brandi (Chris Desper).
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pyle Funeral Home (1008 W Broadway Blvd, Johnston City, IL 62951).
