He was predeceased by: his parents, John Matejcak and Mary Matejcak; his wife Mary Evelyn Matejcak; his daughter Anna Ranachowski (Daniel); and his siblings, John (Susan), Joseph (Ann), Anthony Matejcak, Cecelia Partak (Andy) and Mary Matejcak.
He is survived by: his children, Theresa (Michael Aedo), Andrew Jr. (Kathleen) and Michael Matejcak (Ricarda); his grandsons, Andrew III, Eric (Tricia Taddeo) and Brian Matejcak; and his sister-in-law Shirley Matejcak.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Tezak's Home (1211 Plainfield Rd, Joliet, IL 60435). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Queen of Apostles Catholic Church (18 Woodlawn Ave, Joliet, IL 60435). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the Chapel Committal Service.
