He was predeceased by : his wife Matushka Ruth. He is survived by : his former life partner Ruth Papinchak; his children, Archpriest Alexander Kuchta (Natalie), Rebecca Grabavoy (Gregory) and Charissa Holwey; his grandchildren, Alayna Jarotkiewicz (Matt), Sarah Bernaky (Shawn), Nika Giuliano (Nicholas), Nicholas Holwey (Becci), Juliana Meeker (Tylar), Rachel Johannsen (Jeff) and Michael Holwey; and his sister Elizabeth Melnik. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
