It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel A. Swiersz (Joliet, Illinois), who passed away on September 25, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Swiersz and Josephine Swiersz (Gurka); his siblings, Edward Swiersz (Clara) and Patsy Schwab; and his brother-in-law Walt Gutzman.

He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Swiersz (Maxwell); his daughter Sherry Mundt; his grandson Luke Mundt; and his sisters, Joan Govoni (Don) and Geraldine Gutzman.

In lieu of flowers memorials to the American Cancer Society will be appreciated.
