She was predeceased by: her significant other Ronald Lofky; her husbands, James Gear and Arthur Lofky; her father Herschel Carlton (Irene); and her sisters, Lois Carlton and Elizabeth Michalak (Robert).
She is survived by: her children, Cindy Zobel (Tom), Susan Vail-Cuellar, Janet Betts (James), Michael Lofky (Mary Anne) and David Lofky (Merly); her grandchildren, Tom Zobel (Christine), Sarah Zobel, Amy Kaufman (Craig), Ashley Cuellar, Tyshana Grant (Brandon), James (Jessica), Andrew Betts, Patrick Lofky, Michelle Lindgren (Alex), Timothy Lofky, John Lofky (Kristy), Michael Lofky, Laura Lofky and Christopher Lofky (Ashley); and her friends, Wilma Phillis and Rhonda Deboard (Tim). She is also survived by 22 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Farkas Funeral Home (3201 W Jefferson St, Joliet, IL 60431). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 at 9:15 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (710 W Marion St, Joliet, IL 60436).
