She was predeceased by: her parents, Allean Nixon-Gaddy and George Gaddy Sr. God; her husband J. W. Clayton; her children, Jessie Barnett and Dorothy Moffett (Leon); her grandchildren, Dwayne Barnett, Kevin Holden and Chenona Barnett; and her siblings, Major Gaddy, George Gaddy Jr. (Cora), Mary Gaddy, Lydia Joe (Curtis), Lena Young, Jessica Gaddy and Wilma Jones (Nehemiah).
She is survived by: her children, William Arrington (Dorothy), Barbara King and Ann Blackwell; her brothers, Clifford Gaddy (Melody) of Joliet, Jessie Gaddy (Mattie) of Laurel, MS, William Gaddy of Queens, NY and Robert Gaddy (Patricia) of Joliet, IL; and her daughter-in-law Daisy Barnett of Detroit, MI. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, 1 great great-grandchild.
