Gordon Felix Giarrante Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gordon Felix Giarrante of Joliet, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 2, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Nola Giarrante; his parents, Felix Giarrante and Esther Giarrante (Pellegrini); and his brother Donald Giarrante. He is survived by: his children, Jeff Giarrante, Jodi Giarrante-Hergott, Todd Giarrante and Tony Giarrante; his stepchildren, Leslie Shurson (Mark) and Matthew Rayburn (Julie); his grandchildren, Gina Giarrante (Dustin Wilson), Marissa Hergott-Razak (Ravid), Logan, Lucy and Lauren Rayburn; his siblings, Thomas Giarrante (late Rosemary), Robert Giarrante (Frances), Mary Atwood (late David), Roseann Moran (Robert) and Annette Giarrante (Janet Trzaska); and his sister-in-law Carole Giarrante (late Donald). He is also survived by his eleven great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass was held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Queen of Apostles Catholic Church (18 Woodlawn Ave, Joliet, IL 60435).
