He was predeceased by: his wife Janice Zimmerman; his parents, Howard Zimmerman and Clara Spafford (Jack); his great grandchild Alice; and his sister Donna Castle.
He is survived by: his children, Lawrence Zimmerman (Renee), Sherry Burzawa (Joseph) and Sheryl Baker (Tim); his grandchildren, Samantha Groscost (Chris), Holly Burzawa, Jeremy Zimmerman (Leanne), Jeanette Fugger (Ronald) and T. J. Baker; his great grandchildren, Jaxon, Harper, Stella, Mason and Kolton; his sisters, Geraldine Zimmerman and Diane Hert; his mother-in-law Bernice Wilder; and his siblings-in-law, Joyce Tabbert (Jesse) and Mervin "Red" Castle (late Donna). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Howard's name to St. Jude Catholic Church in Joliet would be appreciated.
