He was predeceased by: his wife Betty; his son Mark; and his siblings, Sid Marquez, Eddie Marquez and Maria Sanchez.
He is survived by: his children, Kelly Gardner (Tim) and Bob Jacobs (Adriana); his grandchildren, Johnathon, Luis (Amanda), Jasmine, Brittany, Marissa and Brandon; his great grandchildren, Brayden, Scarlett, Derek, Elizabeth, Demi, Jordan and Kacie; and his sisters, Linda Mascorro (Oscar) and Consuelo Marquez. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Homes - Joliet (3200 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60431). The military honors will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 6:45 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
