It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Barker Thompson Jr. of Joliet, Illinois, who passed away on August 17, 2021, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Richard Thompson and Louise Thompson; his wife Joan T. Thompson; his daughters, Amy Thompson of Peoria and Jennifer Thompson of Joliet; and his siblings, Dorene Deatrick (Gregory) of Bolingbrook and Andrew Thompson (Tere) of Elgin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
