It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Denise Retherford of Joy, Illinois, born in Moline, Illinois, who passed away on June 25, 2020, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmund Swanson and Leona Hofer Swanson. She is survived by: her husband Steve; her children, Mike Retherford (Stephanie) and Amy Fowler (Justin); her granddaughter Makenzie Retherford; and her brother Gordon Swanson (Mary). She is also survived by 5 step grandchildren; 2 step great grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions all social distancing practices will be observed.
Memorials may be made to Joy United Methodist Church, Joy Community Fire Department, or Eliza Creek Cemetery.
