He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Statler and Eula Statler (Cook); his sisters, Dorothy Peetz and Edna Burchyett; and his grandson Kyle Knox.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Bierschwal; his children, Connie Hitchens (Duane) of Piper City, Carrol Bruce Statler (Jennifer) of Dwight, Kim Knox (Ray Anderson) of Williamsville and Greg Statler of Cullom; his grandchildren, Kelsey Freeland (Andrew) of Cantrall, Olivia Statler of Greenfield, IN., Wyatt Carrol Statler and Jack Statler of Dwight; his great grandchildren, Ayden, Audrey and Ashton Freeland; and his sister Helen Yount. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
