He was predeceased by : his fathers, Ralph Kness and Cecil Kness (Glenn); his parents-in-law, Siefert and Dorothy Fischer; his brother LeRoy; his sister-in-law Helen Fischer; and his daughter-in-law Cathie Kness.
He is survived by : his wife Doris Fischer; his grandson Jake; his children, Steven (Nancy), Rodney (Alissa) of Freeport, IL, Jeffrey (Amy) of Durand, IL and Kathy; and his grandchildren, Tasha Dyson, Derik Burris (Britt), Amber Kness, Josh (Megan), Jacob, Sarah Andrews (Talal), Jordan Kostenbader, Ella, Kendall Kness, Bailey and Hanna Kness. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
