She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Hansen and Emma Hansen; her former husband Merlyn Petty; her siblings, Dorothy Dickey and James Hansen; and her stepson-in-law Mike Fesler.
She is survived by: her husband John Brose; her children, Gregory Petty of Kewanee, Marty Petty of Ste. Genevieve, MO, Lisa of Kansas City and Lori of Ste. Genevieve, MO; her stepchildren, Debra Fesler of Kewanee, Teri Collister (Keith) of Galva, Karen Morey (Miles) of Kewanee and John Brose (Mike) of Chicago; her siblings, Virginia Lang of Kewanee, Geraldine "Jerri" Slaughter of Goodman, MO, Thomas Hansen of Princeton and Kay Walker of Kewanee; her daughter-in-law Martha Doennig of Kewanee; and her siblings-in-law, Paul Trulson (Cecile) of Tennessee, Betty Packee of Kewanee and Dorothy Armstrong of Geneseo. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
