She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Bergel and Rosa Bergel (Krafft); her husband Dr. Richard Jakobi; her siblings, Michael and Rosa; and her granddaughter Denise.
She is survived by: her children, Fritz Jakobi of Kewanee, Heinz Jakobi (Michel) of Memphis, TN and Heddi Sanders (Michael) of Hermosa Beach, CA; and her grandchildren, Nicholas, Alex, Kathryn, Juli, Spencer, Emma and Tate.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you spend the money on your grandchildren, or that you buy your grandmother a bouquet of flowers, or that you take a loved one out to dinner, or just make a phone call.
