Emery Thurston Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 13, 2021, at the age of 84, Emery Thurston of Kewanee, Illinois, born in Peoria, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Emery Thurston and Ila Thurston (Burwell); his parents-in-law, Gaylen and Ruth Talbot; his sisters, Joann, Josephine, Nancy and Janice; his son-in-law Darryl Currier; and his stepgreat-grandson Braeden Seabert.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce L. Talbot; and his children, Michael Thurston (Pam) of Watseka, IL, Sherry Currier of Galva, Kevin Thurston (Michelle) of Battle Creek, MI, Brenda Ryan (Kevin) of Kewanee and Daniel Thurston (Christy) of Bremen, IN. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren and sixteen step-great grandchildren.
