We are sad to announce that on July 22, 2019, at the age of 78, Gary F. Carey (Kewanee, Illinois), born in Mount Vernon, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin V. Carey and Anna Carey (Barker). He is survived by: his wife Linda L. Bollinger; his children, Eric F. Carey (Kristin), Darren Carey (Susan) and Christina Dorsett (Richard) of Virginia; his grandchildren, Brandon, Michael, Neal, Bradley, Nicholas, Lauren, Stephanie and Adam; and his siblings, Patricia Carey of Morton, IL, Vaughnetta Kerns, Don Carey (Linda), George Carey (Linda) and Bryon Carey (Melissa). He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church or to the Cancer Research Institute.
