She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Abate and Rose Abate (Wool); her husband Albert John Guzzardo; and her brothers, Joe and Sam Abate.

She is survived by: her son George Guzzardo (Ann); her grandchildren, John Guzzardo (Teresa), Mark Guzzardo (Janaki Nair) and Sara Renkes (Ryan); and her great grandchildren, Giovanni Guzzardo, Saraswati Guzzardo and Ammini Guzzardo. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
