He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo J., Sr. and Eleanor Swearingen (Lyons); and his sister Dolores Pierce. He is survived by: his wife Shirley A. Kimberling; his daughters, Laurie Swearingen of Kewanee, Melanie Hayes (Bill Scheeler) of Davenport and Mandi Hainline (Chip) of Kewanee; his grandchildren, Chad Hayes and Kari Hayes (Colton Martin); his great grandchildren, Mikella of Kewanee, Olivia Westefer of Kewanee and Adalynn Hayes of Kewanee; his siblings, Bonnie Pyle (Bud), Betty Swan, Barb Salisbury (Jerry) and Gary Swearingen of Kewanee; and his pet Molly. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
