He was predeceased by: his wife Betty; his parents, Dora Groy and Herman Groy; and his sisters, Doris Groy, Evelyn Groy and Elsie Ball.
He is survived by: his brother Hayden Groy of Green Bay, WI; his daughters, Jane Willer (Thomas) of Libertyville, IL and Joan McArdle (James) of Downers Grove, IL.; his grandchildren, Timothy McArdle (Tamara) of Ballston Lake, NY and Daniel McArdle of Chicago; and his great grandchildren, Patrick McArdle of Ballston, NY and Jessica McArdle of Ballston, NY. He is also survived by nieces and nephew.
