He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Orland Blair and Trella Blair; his children, Connie Shannon of Bloomington and John Blair (Shannon) of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.; his grandchildren, Ryan Shawgo (Rebecca) of Somerville, MA, Michael Shawgo of Irvine, CA, Jessica Griffith (Tra), Emily Wood (Gavin) of Coweta, OK and Melody Poverud (Nathan) of Broken Arrow, OK; his siblings, Arlene Johnson of Anchorage, Alaska., Dean Blair and Lena Clausen; and his sister-in-law Ida (Joe Rosebeck) of Kewanee. He was also cherished by six great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Toulon United Methodist Church.
