She was predeceased by: her parents, Elzue Perkins and Grace Perkins (Pilliars); her spouse Bert Carlson; and her children, Nancy Lansbarkis, Sandra Tiesman and Jim Carlson.

She is survived by: her grandsons, Jim Lansbarkis and John Tiesman.
