She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Gunning and Hazel Gunning (Lyle); and her spouse Jean P. Kaine. She is survived by: her children, Jeannine Wright (Gary) of Kewanee, Maureen Kaine-Krolak (Gary) of Playa, Rey, Kathleen Kaine-Fangman (Jim) of Batesville, IN and Tim Kaine (Rita) of New Richmond, WI; her granddaughters, Shelly Phillips (Robert), Mindy Salisbury (Shane), Katie, Madeline Kaine, Alexa and Mikaela Fangman; her great grandchildren, Brieanna Detrick, Corina Barry (Sean), Cody, Zeb Phillips, Parker and Kaden Salisbury; and her great great grandchild March. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Saint John Paul II Parish, OSF Saint Luke Medical Center, the Kewanee Public Library or Compassus Hospice.
