He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton, Sr. Nicholas and Alice Nicholas (Amsbaugh); and his brother-in-law Don Olson. He is survived by: his wife Joan Groezinger; his children, Garth Nicholas, Vikki Nicholas and Jedidiah Nicholas (Shawna); his grandson Jacob; and his sister Rita Olson.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
