It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Miriam R. Gustafson (Kewanee, Illinois), who passed away on January 2, 2018, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her stepmother Eunice Ralston; her brother-in-law Joyce Williams (Chuck); her daughter-in-law Michele Gustafson; her nieces, Pamela Gustafson, Kristine Hemphill and Tammy Lewis; and her sisters-in-law, Agnes White (Bill), Lennart Gustafson (Lucille), Laurence Gustafson, Helen Hultgren (Milt), Harold Gustafson (Donna) and Edith Polson (Roger).
She is survived by: her friend Eunice Lawrence; her husband Oscar Gustafson; her children, Linnea Gustafson of Kewanee and Markel Gustafson of Oak Lawn; her grandchildren, Christopher Gustafson of Chicago and Mary Caruso (Nick) of Alsip; her great grandchildren, Ethan and Morgan; her sister-in-law Marvin Gustafson (LuAnn) of Galva; Laurel Paulsen of Oak Lawn. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Zion Lutheran Church or to the Wethersfield Academic Foundation.
