He was predeceased by: his parents, David Shipman and Alice Shipman (Horn); his granddaughter Marion Reynolds; and his brothers, Danny and Timothy.
He is survived by: his wife Cynthia I. "Cindy" Krantz; his children, Kenneth Shipman of LaFayette and Barbara Simoneaux (Dean) of Galva; and his siblings, David Dean Shipman of Wichita Falls, TX, Patricia Henry of Victoria and Suzie Shipman of Blue Eyes, MO. He is also survived by five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to the family for a memorial to be established.
