With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert T. Dekeyser of Kewanee, Illinois, who passed away on January 9, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gustaf DeKeyser and Margaret DeKeyser (Standaert); his wife Ruth Fisher Johnson; and his siblings, Judith Bare, Richard, Donald and Lawrence.
He is survived by: his former wife Margaret Cassidy; his friend Donna Tucker; his children, Gregory DeKeyser (Jill) of Kewanee, Ann Klimkewicz (Irv) of Kaiser, MO, Lynn Domek (David) of Naperville, IL, Kathy West of Apache Junction, AZ, Patty Simpkins of Abingdon, IL, Bob Johnson (Andrea) of Tucson, AZ and Jennifer Johnson of Memphis, TN; and his siblings, Marie Marchand (Dennis) of Kewanee, Dorothy Weston (Harry) of Washington, IL and John DeKeyser (Barbara) of Gresham, OR. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren, forty great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren.
The funeral home will monitor capacity limits to maintain compliance with COVID regulations. The funeral home requires that all guests wear a mask for the safety of all those attending.
