She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip DeToye and Beverly DeToye (Hepner); her former husband James Townsend; and her brother Gary DeToye. She is survived by: her children, Kimberly DeClercq (Kevin), Michael Townsend (Verna), Jami Townsend and Patrick Townsend (Lorie); her grandchildren, Megan DeClercq-DeVenney (Chris), Matt DeClercq (Ashtin), Andrew DeClercq (Taryn), Haile Townsend (Riley), Melanie Townsend-Lamm (Kyle), Jacob and Miah; and her great grandchildren, Corbin, Mackenzie, Brinley, Dawson and Rilynn.

Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church.
