With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virgil L. Sturgeon of Kewanee, Illinois, born in Horse Cave, Kentucky, who passed away on April 1, 2021 at the age of 74. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Virgil L. Sturgeon to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlos Sturgeon and Frances Sturgeon (Matthews). He is survived by: his wife Wanda Lou Pritchard; and his siblings-in-law, Ron Pritchard, Linda Lane (Kurt), Sandy Hannah and Gary Pritchard. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
