He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Alvin Taylor and Isabella Marguerite Long (Fletcher); his wife Judith Conkling; and his sister Marilynne Grayce Taylor. He is survived by: his daughter Erin Leigh Taylor Bennouna (Mohammed Ali Bennouna) of Naperville, IL; his grandchildren, Tarik, Alia and Sophia; his son Matthew Lain Taylor (Jill Streicher Taylor) of Kewanee, IL; his grandchildren, William, Benjamin and Lain; his daughter Catherine Ann Taylor McDoniel (George McDoniel) of Orland Park, IL; his grandchildren, Riley and Luke; his son Brian William Taylor (Nicole Aby Taylor) of Kewanee; and his grandchildren, Quentin, Corbin, Maxwell, Mitchell and Claire.

Memorials may be directed or designated to the Kewanee Schools Foundation or Alzheimer's Association.
